From the Wellcome Trust to the Fowler Museum

Erica Jones and Carlee Forbes explore how a collection of objects now held at the Fowler Museum arrived at UCLA through the dispersal of the Wellcome Trust’s collection after World War II. They also describe the rapid and intensive effort by UCLA students and staff to unpack, catalog, and organize the materials, making the collection accessible for study and exhibition.
