Moksha

In Jainism, moksha refers to spiritual liberation—the release from the cycle of death and rebirth (samsāra). Achieving moksha means overcoming the binding effects of karma and passions, ultimately freeing the soul from all attachments. While the term can also be used in broader contexts like political freedom, in the Jain tradition it specifically signifies the soul’s complete liberation and purity.
